This album, Beginnings and Endings, goes all the way back to 2008, and...there's some ok stuff in there haha. It's not my proudest work, and it's pretty rough around the edges recording/mixing-wise, but it also contains some cool moments. You'll hear a definite classic rock & blues influence as that was when I was deepest in that phase, but was also entering my folk/bluegrass phase. You'll also a few cover songs: In My Time of Dyin', That's Alright Mama, Masters of War, and Rebecca's Hymn.
All in all, I think it's a cool glimpse into my musical history...not cool enough to put out again though haha. And it turns out I still had 14 old CDs in jewel-cases stored away in my basement, so grab one if you'd like a limited edition piece of Malingo history!
